Is Orbelle free?
Yes. Logging, predictions, the fertile window, the calendar, cycle history, the Doctor Report, widgets, the Apple Watch app, reminders and Aurie are free. Orbelle Pro adds Plan Ahead, deeper insights, your prediction track record, What helped, symptom chips, Aurie's phase guides, cycle stories, every pattern, app themes and extra app icons.
Can I use Orbelle as birth control?
No. Orbelle is not a method of birth control and not a fertility treatment. Fertile-day and ovulation estimates come only from what you log and can be wrong, and pregnancy can result from intercourse on any day of your cycle. Talk with a healthcare professional about contraception and pregnancy.
How does Orbelle predict my period?
It averages your last six cycles and shows a likely range and a wider possible range, based on how much your cycles vary. From your first period it shows a clearly labeled first guess, and it tightens as you log. “Why this prediction?” shows the cycles it used and any it left out.
Where is my data stored?
On your iPhone. There is no Orbelle account and no Orbelle server holding your entries. You can optionally share some data with Apple Health, export a CSV, or save an encrypted backup file yourself.
Can I keep some things private?
Yes. Lock the app with Face ID or your passcode, keep reminders discreet on the Lock Screen, and keep intimacy logging folded away or switched off. Intimacy is never written to Apple Health or included in a report unless you choose it.
Is there an Apple Watch app?
Yes, and it is free. See Aurie and your cycle day, and log your period or a quick symptom from your wrist. Home and Lock Screen widgets are free too.
Which devices does Orbelle work on?
iPhone and iPad with iOS 17 or iPadOS 17 or later.
Who is Aurie?
Orbelle's phoenix. She lives one life every cycle: reborn as a baby when your period ends, fully grown around ovulation, resting in her nest during your period. Tap her and she reacts. If you would rather not see animations, Reduce Motion shows her as still art.
